What time does the event start?
Free Car parks and Gates open to the public at 10:00 – As this is a Fly in expect aircraft movements at any time throughout the day with aircraft arriving, departing and flying locally. Weather permitting we are hoping to see some hot air balloons launching each evening after 18:00.

Where Do I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets will be available for purchase on entry to the airfield.
Single day entry ticket £5 per person, accompanied children under 8 years old free.

Do children need tickets?
Under 8s accompanied by an adult enter for free and do not require a ticket.

What is your Refund policy?
As tickets are sold on the gate on the day it is not our policy to refund ticket purchases.

Are there any flying displays?
No, this event features a Fly In rather than a flying display. However there should be plenty to see as aircraft arrive, depart and locally fly throughout the day.

Will all aircraft be here on both days?
We don’t know. Any aircraft listed on this website or associated event media sites have indicated that they intend to attend over the weekend on one or both days. 

What if an aircraft I wanted to see hasn’t appeared?
Lists of aircraft are provided in good faith based on their owners intentions to attend. Operational commitments, aircraft serviceability, weather conditions etc may prevent a previously advertised aircraft from appearing. Organisers, promoters, airfield or aircraft owners cannot be held responsible for the non attendance of a particular aircraft.

Is parking free?
Yes both at on site and off site locations. Parking is on grass, gravel, broken concrete or unprepared surfaces the condition of which cannot be guaranteed. The organisers, promoters nor any of its servants, agents or contractors accepts liability for any damage, theft or loss of, howsoever caused, to vehicles, accessories or contents incurred on the event car parks.
The placing of a vehicle in the car park shall be deemed to be an unqualified acceptance of these conditions.

Is parking on concrete or grass?
Visitors parking is on grass, gravel, broken concrete or unprepared surfaces, we cannot guarantee where cars will be parked. Please note disabled parking is on gravel and allocated on a first come, first serve basis.  

Is there Disabled parking?
There is limited disabled parking, strictly for blue badge holders only on a first come basis. The parking is in the normal airport carpark which has a gravel surface. Please note the event is held on an active airfield, exhibits may be spread over grassed, gravel, hard and unprepared surfaces with no dedicated hard pathways.

Are there Disabled toilets?
Yes, and they will be signposted – please refer to airfield event layout plan.

Are Assistance Dogs allowed?
Assistance and guide dogs are welcome to the event, no other dogs or pets are permitted. Please note the event site can be crowded and noisy.

Can we bring own Food and Drink?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event and we do have catering on site that sells a range of hot and cold food.

Can we bring a barbecue?
No, we have a lovely airfield and we'd like it to stay that way. There will be hot food available from the airport café and other food outlets.

Can we bring seats?
Yes, we are an active airfield and on site seating is very limited. Please feel free to bring camping / picnic / travel type seats. However please do not leave seats unattended and do not fix to crowd barriers, fences etc – they will be disposed of!

Can we bring windbreaks, gazebos etc.?
No, we'd like all of our visitors to be able to enjoy views of the visiting aircraft without it being impeded by windbreaks or gazebos.

Are there First aid facilities on site?
Yes there will first aiders and paramedic on site Saturday and Sunday.

Are Baby changing facilities available?
No, there are no dedicated baby changing facilities located on site.

Are there Cash withdrawal facilities?
No, there are no cash machines on site.

Remote Controlled Aircraft / Drone / UAVs?
Flying of any of the above is not permitted on or near the airfield. Anyone found using one of these will be reported to both the police and CAA for possible prosecution.

How do I apply for a Press Pass?
As this is a Fly In on an active airfield there are no dedicated press facilities. Good views of aircraft movements will be available from the public areas.
